Laser therapy is a non-intrusive treatment that can be used to advance your pet’s recovery from injury/surgery and to help treat a wide variety of conditions such as chronic pain and inflammation. Under our veterinarian’s expert supervision, a soft light is directed to the afflicted area of your pet’s body. This process lasts 15-30 minutes. Are the lasers safe for my pet?

Yes! We protect our veterinarians and our furry patients from radiation. The only part of your pet’s body that will be exposed to the laser is the wounded areas.

How does laser therapy work?

Lasers emit varying levels of energy. For therapeutic purposes, we use a mid-range level that’s strong enough to trigger cells into growth and repair. We can control the strength of the laser to treat surface level issues, like skin damage, or deeper conditions in your pet’s bones and muscles.

Laser therapy is ideal for pets who are recovering from surgery. In some cases, right after surgery, your pet is treated to a therapy session to help their wound heal.
