What are the different kinds of surgeries you do?

We offer a wide range of surgeries to treat your pet’s injuries and illnesses. We also have an in-house laboratory to test samples for signs of diseases and learn more about your pet’s diagnosis. Below you’ll find a few of the surgeries our facility is equipped to perform:

  • Orthopedic Surgery: fixes fractures, bones and joint issues
  • Soft Tissue Surgery: spays, neuters, as well as abdominal and thoracic surgery
  • Endoscopy: sees and collects samples from throat, stomach, intestines, nose and ears
  • Digital X-ray: visualizes conditions of the chest, abdomen, and skeletal system
  • ECG (electrocardiograms): shows the electrical activity of the heart and allows us to diagnose major heart conditions

Following surgery, our clinic is prepared to care for your pet for the day or overnight. This gives us a chance to monitor their recovery and allow them to rest peacefully.

What is aftercare?

Aftercare is the particular way you can alleviate your pet’s pain following a surgery. It focuses on making sure they get better and are not overworking themselves after a procedure. If they get stitches, it’s important they don’t play or run up the stairs. Even though they were unconscious, getting surgery takes a lot of strength. When they wake up, they’ll be feeling sore, weak and slightly drowsy from the anesthesia wearing off. Give them a quiet and comfortable place to rest. Keep children and other excitements away from them. It also helps to prepare your home prior to the surgery. When they return, have food and water nearby to reduce their movement.
